Compared with other freight models, the trailer has the characteristics of elevated transport efficiency and low transport cost. With the introduction and update of relevant standards, the requirements of trailer transport are increasingly strict.
I. Definition of all types of trailer models
1. Warehouse grid type truck/semi-trailer

5, low plate special semi trailer
Semi-trailer for transporting large objects that cannot be disassembled mainly has the following structural and technical characteristics:
The nominal section width of the tire shall not exceed 8.25in or 245mm;
the connection with the tractor is gooseneck type;

6. Tall-head semi-trailer tractor
Semi-trailer tractor that meets the following conditions:
More than half of the engine body is located in front of the front windscreen glass;
the center of the steering wheel is located after the first quarter of the total length of the cab;
the center line of the front axle is located before the most forward point of the front windscreen.
7. High-ended hinged trains
A hinged train consisting of a tall - ended semi - tractor and semi - trailer.
8. Middle axle trailer
The traction device cannot be moved vertically, the axle is located close to the center of gravity of the trailer, such a vehicle only tiny vertical static load on the tractor, not more than 10% of the maximum mass of the trailer or 10000N load (the smaller value of both), one or more axis can be driven by the tractor.
9. Medium axle vehicle transport trailer
A mid-axle trailer with single or multiple decks for loading transport vehicles.
10. Medium axle vehicle transport train
A car train consisting of a freight car and a mid-axle trailer with a single or multiple deck for loading transport vehicles.
11. Passenger car trains
Combination of passenger car and mid-axle trailer.
12. Freight train
Combination of truck and drawbar trailer or middle axle trailer.
13, special operation car
A device consisting of specialized equipment or appliances designed and manufactured for use in a specific operation, excluding motor vehicles whose primary purpose is to carry persons or goods.
2. Limits of outer dimension
Additional requirements on the vehicle exterior dimension: the single-side extension of the indirect visual field device of the vehicle should not exceed the vehicle width of 250mm; the height of the vehicle should not exceed 300mm when the roof window of the vehicle and the ventilation device of the vehicle are open; the distance between the rear axle of the vehicle and the front axle of the traction rod trailer should not be less than 3000mm.
For the outer dimension of the trailer, the allowable error range is typically ±1% or ±50mm, that is, ≤1% or ≤50mm. Beyond this error range, it belongs to the category of violation.
In addition, the allowable error range of empty freight vehicle weight is ±3%, beyond this range will not be registered and will be reported as illegal products.
3. Total mass limit
According to the regulations of GB1589 "Automobile, trailer and automobile train exterior dimension, axle load and mass limit", the maximum allowable total mass limit of one-axle semi-trailer is 18t, two-axle semi-trailer limit is 35t, and three-axle semi-trailer limit is 40t; the maximum allowable total mass limit of two-axle tractor-bar trailer is 18t; the limit of one axle mounted axle trailer is 10t, the limit of two axles is 18t, and the limit of three axles is 24t; the maximum allowable total mass limit of three-axle automobile train is 27, that of four-axle automobile train is 36t, that of five-axle automobile train is 43t, and that of six-axle automobile train is 49t.
Iv. Maximum allowable shaft load limit
Axle load refers to the load borne by the axle. About the axle load weight, commonly in the vehicle certificate will be marked, the force makes each tire can uniform wear, meet the main performance requirements of the vehicle, but also take into account the vehicle layout form.
For different types of axles, the maximum allowable axle load shall not exceed the number of tires of the axle multiplied by 3000kg.
